Rosen Method Foundations. . .Traditional Rosen

Fall Bodywork Intensive

Marion's handGentle touch as a pathway to awareness
...not just a catch phrase, but a way of being.

Internationally recognized senior Rosen Method teacher Jane Malek and her certified co-instructors will lead you on an in-depth exploration of authentic Rosen Method.

In this five-day intensive, we use a unique touch that accesses the emotional material held in the unconscious parts of our bodies. You will learn to deepen your awareness, observe the wisdom of the natural breath and experience living more from your personal truth.

Rosen Method bodywork intensives are the foundation to understanding, experiencing, and learning this amazing work. This work is especially beneficial for healthcare professionals, bodyworkers, psychotherapists and anyone who wants to live life more fully.

The group process of an intensive amplifies the opening to feelings that have long been put away as muscular tension. Rosen Method Movement helps you integrate these feelings and physical shifts into daily life. We will explore how both modalities complement each other and emerge from the same theory.

If you would like more information about Rosen Method, please review some of our Rosen Method articles. For course information use the More Information links on the left.

For first-time participants, an application process is required for enrollment.

About the Instructors

Lead Instructor: Jane Malek, CMT

I feel privileged that I have the opportunity to teach Rosen Method bodywork and movement, as well as working with individual clients. It is a healing modality that continues to change me as well as those that I have worked with over the last 30+ years. In a step-by-step manner, the work continues to evolve as I do. The levels of deep love and acceptance that I feel in my being are transmitted to those I work with through our interaction together. The emotional healing is so simple and effective. It allows each person’s deeper self to emerge from acknowledging the parts of themselves that have been buried. This is what drew me to Marion and keeps inspiring me.

Jane trained with Marion Rosen. She is a senior teacher of Rosen Method Bodywork and a Rosen Movement Training teacher, as well as founder and operator of the Monterey Bay Rosen Method Center. She began studying Rosen Method with Marion in 1980 and enjoyed a close apprenticeship with her for many years. They started co-teaching workshops together in 1990. Jane has a practice in the Monterey area as well as teaching extensively in Europe, Canada and California.
